Ironwood
Ancient technique of Chinese lacquers

The original design of the table in a modern style is made of one of the hardest types of wood - ironwood. This type of wood is incredibly resistant to impact. Making items out of ironwood is a very time consuming process. It takes at least 6 months of craftsmanship to make such a set.
After production, the surface is covered with no less than 30 coats of lacquer according to the ancient technology. Each layer is applied separately, followed by natural drying and so on 30 times in a row. In combination with ironwood, the product acquires such unique properties that the life of the furniture can be up to 300-400 years.
The art of working with natural varnishes dates back to the 2nd century B.C. in Asia. And, of course, craftsmen reached the pinnacle of perfection.
